My Bride is a Mermaid: How is the sub for this anime?

    *One* of the main reason I dropped this anime was because of the awful dub. I couldn't stand to listen to any of the characters' voices.

    That purple thing is most of the other reason and is going to take some SERIOUS getting used to if I choose to re-watch it. If that character sticks around, I don't even think I would be able to make it through a subbed version.

    What I'm curious about is whether or not the sub is decent enough to warrant giving this another shot, or whether "that particular character" goes away. I've talked to people who say they loved this anime and I should really give it another go, and since I never really gave the sub a chance I figured I could possibly start with that.
