    GoDannar is from a fun little anime revolving around Go and his rather young wife "energetic girl". In this world they are being attacked by giant monsters for no clear reason but just like in most anime the answer is obvious giant robots! The Mecha have the ability to link up with certain others and combine to make a somewhat bigger giant robot with a twin drive system making it much more powerful. The GoDannar's main weapon is a super powered fire punch that can punch a hole through pretty much anything. Besides that I don't recall it having any other weapons of note. It was a fun series though and the GoDannar's combination ability and the fact he solved his problems by punching them was fun.

    The Nirvash is the MC's mecha from Eureka 7. If you haven't seen that anime you should because while it's not the best show ever and I could think of a few flaws it's still one of those shows that you really should see sooner or later. But anyway back to the mecha the Nirvash has very little weapons but that is because it relies on it's speed and agility to fight. Because the Nirvash actually has the ability to surf on the air using his mecha sized mechanical surfboard. This actually affords him pretty amazing mobility able to dodge and weave through battle. Again the has few weapons besides some mini guns and a blade weapon but the Nirvash is fast enough to where he can pretty much tear through enemies easily with what he has. Also he has two transformations during the series. First he has the ability to turn into a car like vehicle which was good when flying was not a good idea or impossible. But later he also gets a jet mode which further increases his air born mobility. Lastly the Nirvash has a supermode called the "7th swell" or something like that and basically it fills the sky with pretty colors while the nirvash basically becomes unstoppable and becomes able to tear up an entire army with ease.

    So the GoDanner is definitely a fun if not a little bland anime and the mecha is not bad. But he kinda falls short compared to the Nirvash which can surf and turn into a jet.

    But burning gundam was a classic and had the ability to go into a super mode. Not to mention it's real name is God Gundam before it got censored.

    Being a classic means nothing for this elimination, it just means it is older. Putting the two up against one another, Chamber was a highly sophisticated AI essentially with a personality that could self pilot, and had devastating lasers to easily render useless all of earth's current tech. Meanwhile the Gundam was just a tool used by the main character that the video didn't show do much more than charge at an opponent.

    I liked Burst Angel and have the DVD for it, but Django never really impressed me. Voltron has nostalgia for me despite not even being sure if I ever even saw a full episode. I want to watch it now

    Harute was the transforming one that could turn into a Jet and it was part of Gundam 00 so it has the trans am system and particle drive and stuff. It also has a personal special mode that could link up to 3 minds to massively increase it's performance and give it 3 pairs of red eyes. It also had a bit control system which if you don't know what those are they very fast and agile mobile turret guns that the controling mecha can use to surround enemies and shoot them from various angles without even having to move itself.

    On the other hand arbalest was pretty much just a walking tank. It was a mecha but it has nothing particularly special about it besides "hey it's a giant robot" because this world was mostly treated as realistic and set in modern day so they didn't have any special functions built in.
