Maruboro Akai's Kin No Kanojo, Gin No Kanojo Manga Ends

    This year's May issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine published the final chapter of Maruboro Akai's Kin no Kanojo, Gin no Kanojo (Girl of gold & silver girl) manga on Friday. The magazine asked readers to await Akai's next work.


    The manga launched in Monthly Shonen Magazine in February 2014 and Kodansha published the ninth volume in November.

    The romantic comedy depicts a hapless protagonist and his beautiful love interest — who is split into two girls by a divine power. The "Golden Girlfriend" is the graceful and ladylike type, while the "Silver Girlfriend" is the mischievous, foulmouthed, and straightforward type.


    Akai ended his Kamen no Maid Guy manga in 2012 after 15 compiled volumes. The series inspired a 12-episode anime series and original anime video in 2008.
