Love Live! Sunshine!! TV Anime Premieres on July 2

The official website of the Love Live! Sunshine!! television anime series revealed on Sunday that the anime will premiere on Tokyo MX and other channels starting on July 2 at 10:30 p.m. The anime will also air on Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, BS11, TV Aichi, Shizuoka Broadcasting, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting.

The anime will stream online on Bandai Channel, LINE LIVE, and Niconico starting on July 2.

The Love Live! Sunshine!! project was first announced in February 2015. The project's three key phrases are "Reader Participation," "Inspired by μ's," and "Seaside Town Setting." The group's name Aqours was chosen by fans by popular vote.

Kazuo Sakai (Mushi-Uta director, episode director for Love Live! School idol project, Gundam Build Fighters) is directing the series at Sunrise, and Jukki Hanada (all previous Love Live! School idol project anime) is handling the series composition. Yūhei Murota returned to design the characters, and Tatsuya Katou (Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma) is composing the music at Lantis.​

I just could never get into that series, I don't know why but I got quickly bored by it

 

Give it a go, it's only 26 episodes, an OVA, some music videos and with this upcoming sequel, it's one of the most popular anime within the past 5 years

 

What would you say are it's pros and cons?
I might try to watch it again next week

 

A few pros that I can say is that it has good comedy, amazing music and great character designs and the story is also worth watching, haven't watched the dub yet but I might plan on, can't think of any con, but maybe these guys can help out:

Would you recommend the dubbed version or the subbed version more or is either or good?

 

I haven't watched the English version just yet, two of the ones I've tagged have watched the dub so, they might give you their opinion of the dubbed version, but the subbed version is what everyone knows and loves so, go with subs

The dub of Love Live isn't bad per-say. I liked most of the girls' voice actresses with the sad exception of Honoka. Her voice actress didn't do a horrible job, but it didn't stick with me as much as Emi Nitta did.

Anyway, I definitely am excited to finally see this airing in just a few weeks. Let's hope they can live up to the reputation Muse left behind

 

Pros: Music, comedy, character attachment.
Cons: Nozomi, Honks, Kotori.
