Live-Action Love Concierge Series Gets 2nd Season

The wrap-around jacket band of the sixth compiled volume of Hakase and Ueno's comedy manga Rabuho no Ueno-san (Love Concierge, or "Mr. Ueno of the Love Hotel") announced on Friday that the live-action series adaptation will get a second season.

The first season began streaming on the "Fuji TV on Demand" on December 1, and the television broadcast began in January. Ken Higurashi directed the series, and Yū Kanda and Noriko Kozuru penned the script. Kanata Hongou starred as Ueno.

Hakase began serializing Love Concierge in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Flapper magazine in June 2014. The story is based on a Twitter account of a love hotel employee who goes by "Ueno" and instructs others in the way of love. In the manga, Ueno, a Gotanda Kingdom love hotel employee, appears in front of men who have trouble with love and sex and lectures them on how to lure women to the hotel.
