    Opening movie streamed
Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on Friday that it will release Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time on PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Network and PC via Steam on May 15 in the Americas and Europe. The company also began streaming the opening movie for the game.

The game launched for PS4 in Japan on November 30. Germany's PlayStation blog briefly listed a February 20 release date for the West.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America describes the "3D action beat 'em up" game's original story:

Having been inspired by a famous witch named Shiny Chariot, an ordinary girl named Atsuko (Akko) Kagari enrolls at Luna Nova Magical Academy, a prestigious school for young girls training to become witches. Before starting summer vacation, Akko and her new classmates find out about an inexplicable phenomenon at Luna Nova caused by the Seven Wonders, which has been passed down for several centuries. Now it's up to Akko as she takes on the adventure to unravel the mystery surrounding the Seven Wonders.
Studio Trigger's Little Witch Academia television anime premiered on January 8 and concluded with 25 episodes on June 25. Netflix debuted the first 13 episodes outside Japan on June 30, and added episodes 14-25 in August.
