Kodansha Lists School Rumble, Alive, Nodame Cantabile, Princess Resurrection Manga on iTunes

    Kodansha Advanced Media LLC is listing the School Rumble, Alive,Nodame Cantabile, and Princess Resurrection manga for digital release starting on July 26 on the iTunes Store. Random House's Del Rey imprint previously published all four series before Kodansha USA took over publishing duties for the imprint in 2010.

    The listing includes 13 volumes for School Rumble, two volumes for Alive, 10 volumes for Nodame Cantabile, and four volumes for Princess Resurrection. Del Rey previously released 13 volumes for School Rumble, eight volumes for Alive, 16 volumes for Nodame Cantabile, and seven volumes for Princess Resurrection.

    Jin Kobayashi's School Rumble manga ran in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 2002 to 2008. Kodansha published 22 compiled book volumes for the series. The series inspired two television anime series and two OVAs.

    Tadashi Kawashima and Adachitoka's Alive ran in Kodansha's Monthly Shōnen Magazine from 2003 to 2010, with writer Kawashima passing away just after finishing the series. Kodansha published 21 compiled book volumes for the series.

    Tomoko Ninomiya's Nodame Cantabile manga ran in Kodansha's Kiss magazine from 2001 to 2009. Kodansha published 24 compiled book volumes for the series. The manga inspired three television anime series, two live-action series, and two live-action films.

    Yasunori Mitsunaga's Princess Resurrection manga ran in Kodansha's Monthly Shōnen Sirius magazine from 2005 to 2013. Kodansha published 20 compiled book volumes for the series. The manga inspired a television anime adaptation and a three-episode OVA.​
