Kodansha Comics announced on Tuesday that it has licensed Kyo Shirodaira and Chasiba Katase's manga In/Spectre (Kyokō Suiri or Invented Interface) manga. The company also announced that it plans to release print editions of Gido Amagakure's Sweetness & Lightning (Sweetness and Lightning), which it has been releasing digitally. The first volume of Sweetness & Lightning is slated for July while In/Spectre is slated for this fall.

Kodansha Comics describes In/Spectre (title tentative):
When she was still just a girl, Kotoko was kidnapped by yokai. These spirits made her into a powerful intermediary between the spirit and human worlds, but this power came at a price: an eye and a leg. Now, years later, she watches out for dangerous yokai while developing feelings for a young man named Kuro, who is also special: an incident with a yokai has given him healing powers. He's surprised when Kotoko asks him to team up to handle renegade yokai, preserving the thin line between reality and the supernatural.
Katase launched the manga based on a novel by Shirodaira (Spiral, The Record of a Fallen Vampire, Blast of Tempest) in Kodansha's Shōnen Magazine R in April 2015. The manga is Katase's first serialized work. Kodansha will publish the third compiled volume in Japan on April 15.

Kodansha Comics describes Sweetness & Lightning:
Having lost his wife, math teacher Kouhei Inuzuka is doing his best to raise his young daughter Tsumugi as a single father. He's pretty bad at cooking and doesn't have a huge appetite to begin with, but chance brings his little family and one of his students, Kotori Iida, together for homemade adventures. With those three cooks in the kitchen, it's no wonder this dinner table drama is so delicious.

Amagakure (100 Blossoms to Love) launched the manga ingood! Afternoon in 2013, and Kodansha published manga's sixth compiled volume on March 7. Crunchyroll is publishing new chapters as Kodansha is publishing them in Japan.

An anime adaptation has been greenlit and is slated for July.
