    Okay, so we've tossed around the idea of a yearly JAN meetup for quite some time now. This is something some of us have fantasied about since we joined the community. A great way to meet your fellow JAN members in a neutral, like-minded, environment - an anime convention. Now Sabakon (they have a hentai lounge) isn't Anime Expo or anything, but last time I went it was fun. And the con isn't the only thing to do in Las Vegas. Vegas is a widely desired travel destination and is known for its nightlife and entertainment.

    Let's be honest here, I know this is a stretch for most members. I realize that I am being hopeful and fully understand there is a very good chance nobody will come. Ella and I live in Vegas and will be attending the con regardless. IF other people plan on coming we will plan accordingly for the con, lodging (we may be able to accommodate a few, would know for sure closer to the date), and other things of interest to do while in town.

    All the way in Nevada? I don't know, man.

    Noble to offer lodging, and a thanks for that -- but, I wouldn't be able to go out nonetheless.

    Plus, I don't think you want me to indoctrinate your children, LOL.

    Been to vegas before, and it sucked hard because I was under 21 [so if anyone reading this is under 21, I'd really suggest not going even if you want to]. But because of that I do have experience in Vegas and on the strip, and one of my sisters lives in Vegas so it's not like I wouldn't have a place to crash if worst came to worst.

    I would love to go an anime con, especially one with a hentai lounge ;). I did some research, and the plane ticket itself for just me would be around $250 [at this very moment]. That sounds pretty alright honestly, but I really can't be certain of anything considering that my job pays shit and I'd probably end up spending a shit ton more than that on things at the con and at other places.

    With what I get paid right now, It just doesn't sound like a good idea for me to blow a ton of money at one time, even though I would want to go.

    Things could change, but I just don't see this as something I can realistically do until I start getting paid more. I'd definitely be down to do this in the future though, so don't write off this idea forever.

    I like the idea and would love to go, but NV is pretty far off for me. I simply don't have the time nor the capital to make it happen, at the moment. That may change by Nov. but, otherwise, I'll probably be looking to next year in order to go.
