This year's 39th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is revealing on Monday that Yūki Tabata's Black Clover manga will be part of this year's Jump Special Anime Festa. While the announcement doesn't specifically state that the manga will get an event anime that will debut at the event, it does state that those who attend the event will be the first in the world to be able to see manga's main character Asta as he moves around and fights. The announcement also states that the event will feature the first participation for Black Clover in the anime world.

The issue is also revealing that an original story for Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma will appear at the event. Additionally, those who attend will get a pamphlet, a tote bag, and three mini autograph boards for Black Clover, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, and My Hero Academia.

An announcement from the magazine earlier this week mentions a "first anime adaptation" for a manga, although the magazine didn't mention which manga it will be, or whether it will be an event anime or just announced at the event.
Viz Media Publishes Black Clover in North America, and it describes the story:
SHONEN JUMP's breakaway hit of 2015, a fantasy action-adventure about mastering magical powers. Asta is a young boy who dreams of becoming the greatest mage in the kingdom. Only one problem – he can't use any magic! Luckily for Asta, he receives the incredibly rare five-leaf clover grimoire that gives him the power of anti-magic. Can someone who can't use magic really become the Wizard King? One thing's for sure – Asta will never give up! The series is also currently featured in WEEKLY SHONEN JUMP magazine.

Viz Media published the first three chapters of the series in its Weekly Shonen Jump digital magazine in February as part of its "Jump Start" initiative. The company then added the manga to the digital anthology's regular lineup in March. Shueisha published the manga's seventh compiled volume in Japan on August 4. Viz Media released the second volume of the manga on August 2.

The Jump Special Anime Festa event will be held in five cities on November 27 and December 4. The event will feature My Hero Academia, Twin Star Exorcists, and Isobe Isobee Monogatari ~Ukiyo wa Tsurai yo~, in addition to Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma and Black Clover. The event will premiere an original event anime episode of My Hero Academia.

This year's Jump Special Anime Festa event will first take place in Tokyo's Yomiuri Hall on November 27, and then in Sapporo's Sapporo Cinema Frontier, Nagoya's TOHO Cinemas Nagoya Bay City, Osaka's TOHO Cinemas Umeda Main Building and Nanba Main Building, and Fukuoka's TOHO Cinemas Tenjin Main Building on December 4.

Last year's event visited nine cities in Japan in November. Gintama, Haikyu!!, World Trigger, and Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma had anime screenings at the event.
