    A year ago we made the move the xenForo for the site's forum platform and since have been using the same default theme, which while good, was not perfect. I'd know, I helped make it. We made a promise to make a cleaner and all around better theme, and today, I'm pleased to announce the revamped v2 theme is now here! Member who were using the previous default should already be on the v2 theme now, but for those that are on one of the forum's optional theme can see this new theme though the theme selector at the bottom of most pages.

    I spent a lot of time and hard work to make our new default theme. Some awesome new features have even been added!
    • "Sticky" member bar at the top
    • Collapsible forum nodes
    • Enhanced New post indication
    • Super mobile friendly optimizations
    • Quick navigation menu [​IMG]
    • And much more!
    A v2 of the Throwback theme is also in the works that will use the same framework as the Default v2 as well as any new optional themes. If anyone as any questions about the new theme, please don't hesitate to ask. And as always, thank you all for your patience while we make your JustDubs Online experience better and better!

    The UI.X Dark theme framework looks really nice.

    For members wanting to use the original default theme it will be available tomorrow via the theme selector. Or for anyone using the throwback theme that would like to give this theme a try: http://justdubsonline.net/forum/misc/style This is to introduce the new theme to anyone who manually selected the default theme (after picking another theme) that otherwise wouldn't see it.

    Members who use the new default theme will notice that some areas are still being worked on. Some of the staff rank and member post count images need to be redone with transparency. This was a left over from DTR when the bbpress board didn't originally accept .png format for the rank images.

    I think it sets it back to the Default theme every time I come back to the site if I get logged out. Hence, I see the new layout before I log on, then once logged in, I see the default theme.

    If you've ever changed your theme, even if you put it back to the default, it will stick when you login (unless the theme is removed of course).

    It's defaulted straight back to the default theme. However, I do have the option to select the new theme now.

    I removed the ability to select the original default theme. It will be added back at a later time once everyone gets a chance to properly see the new one.

    Loving the new look, so much so I don't care it isn't full width on my screen.

    After some time admiring the new look there is one little thing I'm not a fan of is the bright blue background you see with avatars that have a transparent background on the index page. I'd like it to be as it is in posts.

    Asked her to do so the first day I saw this new theme. It was even mentioned in the OP that it will be happening.

    Unfortunately, the @PrimaryColor background in some areas servers a purpose and is intentional. For members that have not uploaded an AVI will have this default image:

    This replaced xF stock default AVI images and the @PrimaryColor background is the help keep the theme unified.

    Is it me or did all the text default to gray? I'm not sure I like that, it blends in too much and now I can't read half my own writings.

    Guess I'll just do it like this then.

    Yeah, losing the white text was something that sort of bothered me as well. Kind of curious what others think about it.
