Island Anime Premieres On July 1

The official website for the television anime of Frontwing and Prototype's ISLAND visual novel revealed on Thursday that the series will premiere on July 1. The anime will air on Tokyo MX on July 1 at 10:00 p.m. before airing later that evening on Sun TV. The series will air later on AT-X and BS-Fuji.

The series will stream online in Japan on Netflix, Bandai Channel, au Video Pass, J:COM on Demand, milplus, Hulu, AbemaTV, and d Anime Store.

Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs.

Keiichiro Kawaguchi (Sket Dance, Psychic Squad) is directing the series at studio feel. (Tsuki ga Kirei, Outbreak Company). Naruhisa Arakawa(Outbreak Company, MAOYU) is in charge of the series scripts, and Akiyuki Tateyama (Laid-Back Camp, Kuma Miko: Girl Meets Bear) is composing the music.

Yukari Tamura is performing the anime's opening theme song while Asaka (Occultic;Nine, A Centaur's Life, Laid-Back Camp) is performing the ending theme song.
