[IMG]The official website for High School DxD Hero, the fourth season of the High School DxD television anime series, listed on Friday that the anime will have four Blu-ray Disc/DVD volumes for a total of 13 episodes in the series. (The first volume will have four episodes, and the remaining volumes will have three episodes each.) The volumes will ship once a month between July and October.

Each volume will include web previews, Digipak packaging art by character designer Makoto Uno in a special clear case, a special booklet with part of a "High School DxD 0" text short story by original light novel author Ichiei Ishibumi, and a reproduction "boobs countdown" mini sketch.

The first volume also comes with clean opening and ending sequences, a box for all the volumes (with an exclusive illustration by original light novel illustrator Miyama-Zero), and a set of eyecatch illustration postcards. People who pre-order the first volume at participating retailers will receive an exclusive Rias A3-sized "Tsuru x Teka" clear poster on the volume's July 25 release date. Various retailers are also offering their own bonuses. The second volume comes with an additional collection of promotional videos and commercials.

The anime will premiere on the AT-X channel on Tuesday, April 10 at 11:00 p.m.. The new series will cover the story of the novel series' ninth and 10th volumes. Crunchyroll will stream the series with subtitles, and Funimation will stream the series with an English dub.

Author Ichiei Ishibumi and illustrator Miyama-Zero's High School DxD light novel series centers on Issei Hyōdō, a dim-witted, lecherous second-year high school student who is killed by a girl on his first date ever. Issei is reincarnated as a devil, and from that day forward, he serves as an underling of Rias, a high-level devil who is also the prettiest girl on Issei's campus.
