    Soo, to not confuse anyone here, this here is not a club activity (Thus the thread name) but was one of the 5 to be nom'd but didn't win and none the less, if you're watching this anime, feel free to discussion it here. Thoughts on the anime anyone?

    Please note: I may not watch this as I'm holding out for the dub so, don't @ me or expect me to partake in this one. lol

    First episode was okay. Nothing but introductions really but could be interesting later on.

    Heavy Object is one of the anime I still look forward to watching this season. I cant really say it excels in any particular way, its just average. But hey it presents an interesting world where war is dominated by these black box machines, that AREN'T humanoid mecha, and the MCs overcome the challenges. Some of the humor gets a bit overly exaggerated, but then again this anime is like comfort food for me. Its not particularly good, but it always suffices when I want to watch something.

    yeah in a season where a lot of stuff was below average something at least on average or maybe a little above is a highlight at this point.

    The main characters are interesting enough and work well off eachother. The heroine has her amusing moments. The world is just creative enough to have a lot of potential and the weapons are an interesting change of pace.

    Probably the best part of this show is watching the ways they figure out how to take down super weapons.
