The February issue of Square Enix's G Fantasy magazine revealed on Wednesday that Haruto Shiota is ending his manga adaptation of the K: Return of Kings television anime in the magazine's next issue on February 18.

Shiota launched the manga in October 2015. Square Enix published the manga's first compiled book volume last June.

Shiota also drew the manga based on the K: Missing Kings anime film, which launched in Square Enix's G Fantasy magazine in April 2015 and ended in September of the same year.

The first K television anime premiered in 2012, and Viz Media streamed it in North America as it aired. An English dub streamed on Viz's Neon Alley service. Viz released the series on Blu-ray Disc and DVD. The anime has also inspired multiple manga adaptations and spinoffs.

The K: Missing Kings film premiered in July 2014, and the K: Return of Kings television anime debuted in October 2015. Viz licensed both anime. Eleven Arts screened K: Missing Kings in North America, and Viz's Neon Alley service streamed K: Return of Kings.
