New season's story begins with Karasuno High's next match
[IMG]This year's 16th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jumpmagazine is announcing on Saturday that the third television anime season based on Haruichi Furudate's Haikyu!! volleyball manga has been green-lit for this fall. The season will begin with Karasuno High's match with Spoiler (highlight the following white text to read) [Shiratorizawa Academy.]

The previous issue of the magazine hinted at an "important announcement" for the manga.

The first anime season premiered in April 2014. Sentai Filmworks has licensed and released the series on home video in North America. Crunchyroll streamed the first season as it aired, and is streaming the ongoing second season as it airs in Japan. Sentai Filmworks has also licensed the second season for home video.

Crunchyroll describes the currently airing second season:

After losing to Aoba Johsai at the Inter-High, the Karasuno High Volleyball Team is working their hardest toward the Spring Tournament. In the meantime, it's decided that they'll be heading to Tokyo for a training camp with Nekoma High and a handful of other powerful schools. They team is practicing hard, and not day during their run, Hinata and Kageyama get too excited and end up lost, and end up meeting someone rather unexpected...
The anime franchise received two compilation anime films last July and September.

Viz Media will publish the manga in North America beginning in July.

Update: Spoiler tags added. Thanks, Reverse
