Haikyu!! Anime's 3rd Season's Teaser Video Reveals Title

    The official website of the television anime series based on Haruichi Furudate's Haikyu!! volleyball manga began streaming a teaser video for anime's third season on Monday. The video reveals that the third season will be titled Haikyu!! Karasuno Kōkō VS Shiratorizawa Gakuen Kōkō (Haikyu!! Karasuno High vs Shiratorizawa Academy).

    This year's 16th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine announced the third season earlier this month. The new season will premiere this fall.

    The first anime season premiered in April 2014. The second season premiered in October 2015 and finished airing on Sunday. Sentai Filmworks has licensed and released the first season on home video, and has also licensed the second season. Crunchyroll streamed both seasons as they aired.

    The anime franchise also received two compilation anime films last July and September.

    Viz Media will publish the manga in North America beginning in July.​
