Girls & Panzer Film Jumps Back to #8, Dōkyūsei/Classmates Opens at #9

    Nobunaga Concerto stays at #2, 2nd Yo-kai Watch film drops to #10
    [​IMG]The Girls und Panzer film rose from #24 to return to the top 10, ranking #8 in the Japanese box office this February 20-21 weekend. It sold 30,091 tickets and earned 59,661,700 yen (about US$532,194) on 99 screens, 14 weeks after opening last November. The film added a number of theaters over the weekend, and began4DX screenings of the film in selected theaters last Saturday.

    [​IMG]The anime film of Asumiko Nakamura'sDōkyūsei (Classmates) boys-love manga opened in Japan last Saturday, and ranked #9. It sold 23,395 tickets 34,308,700 yen (about US$305,611) on 30 theaters this past weekend.

    [​IMG]The live-action film of Ayumi Ishii's Nobunaga Concerto historical manga stayed at #2 in its fifth weekend. The film sold 156,083 tickets over the weekend, and earned 201,048,200 yen (about US$1.79 million). The film has sold a cumulative 2.80 million tickets.

    [​IMG]Eiga Yo-kai Watch: Enma Daioh to Itsutsu no Monogatari da Nyan!, the second film in the Yo-kai Watch franchise fell from #7 to #10 in its 10th weekend on 358 screens.
