An official website opened up today announcing that an adaptation of the mobile game Girlfriend (Beta) has been green lit.
The series is slated for an October release.
The website also announces that a new heroine will be announced, and that there will be an event in July that will give more details about the anime.

Cyberagent's online service Ameba launched the smartphone social game Girlfriend (Kari) or Girlfriend (Beta) in 2012, and it has since become a popular hit in Japan. The school dating simulator features cards, which have character voices and art by the illustrator circle QP:flapper (MM!, Sora no Method). The original game has since spawned a Boyfriend (Beta) spinoff.
