First Teaser For The Animated Addams Family Movie
They're creepy and they're kooky, mysterious and spooky. And, for a long time, they haven't been on our screens. Now the Addams Family is returning, this time in animated form. Check out the first teaser for what is simply called The Addams Family.



As seems the norm for the Addams story, the film finds them trying to adapt to life around ordinary people, and figuring out that not everybody can be a good neighbour. At least, that's what we're told – the teaser instead focuses on the weird family doing their weird thing (and squeezing in an It joke to boot). And the designs go right back to Charles Addams original cartoons, with all the added oddness that animation can provide.

The cast for this one is impressive, with Charlize Theron, Oscar Isaac, Chloe Grace Moretz, Finn Wolfhard, Allison Janney, Nick Kroll and Bette Midler in the recording booth.

Greg Tiernan and Conrad Vernon are the directors for the latest visit chez Addams, and the film will be out in the UK on 25 October.
