Final Fantasy XV DLC Trailer Previews 'Episode Prompto'

    Square Enix began streaming a trailer on Monday for the "Episode Prompto" DLC for its Final Fantasy XV game. The trailer is available with both English and Japanese audio.

    The new story episode is the second in a series of story episodes focusing on each of the main characters of Final Fantasy XV, with an episode focused on Ignis also planned. Square Enix released the "Episode Gladiolus" story episode on March 28.

    Naoshi Mizuta (Final Fantasy XI, Final Fantasy XIII-2) is serving as guest composer for "Episode Prompto." Keiichi Okabe (NieR Automata) composed for the Gladiolus DLC.

    Final Fantasy XV went on sale worldwide for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 29.

    The game's director Hajime Tabata stated that the game broke even with development costs on "day one." As of January 10, the game had sold more than 6 million copies worldwide. The number includes physical shipments and download sales.
