Ezra Miller is already part of one big cinematic universe for Warner Bros., having scored the role ofBarry Allen, AKA The Flash, for the DC Comics films. Now the studio is considering adding him to another, as Miller is the top choice to play a part in Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.

Potter director David Yates is launching what Warner Bros. already plans as a new trilogy, adapted by J.K. Rowling herself from her book. Eddie Redmayne is starring as Newt Scamander, who plies his trade as a magizoologist around the world, and visits New York in the first adventure. The story takes place roughly 70 years before Harry and the rest have their tangle with the dark forces of Voldemort. If he does end up making a deal, Miller will be Kedan, a fellow magician who crosses paths with our hero.

The cast is coming together for this one: Katherine Waterston is already aboard opposite Redmayne to play Tina, while Variety reports that Michael Cera and Josh Gad are among those taking meetings about the role of Jacob, a big rival to Newt.

Miller will next be seen in Judd Apatow’s latest, the Amy Schumer written (and starring) Trainwreck(due August 14) and he’s making his bow as the Flash in the hero-packed Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, which finally touches down in the UK on March 25 next year.
