Notice Emails Not Working

    Well, this is technically already resolved. I just wanted to shed some light on the situation in case anyone experienced this. Apparently when I tagged the members group in the thankful thread I broke our mail server. Our free plan grants us 12k free emails a month and then anything over we pay the difference. So when the forum attempted to tag 19k+ members the mail server had to play catch up when delivering all those email alerts and something broke along the way.

    For anyone reading through the homepage news, forum registration is now available once again.

    If anyone has any problems receiving email alerts let me know.

    hahaha kind of reminds me of a time someone at work sent an email to the whole company about 160k people and instead of BCC everyone they CC'ed everyone.... and after that someone was stupid enough to reply to all.... and then someone else replied to the replied to all saying stop replying to all....... and the cycled continued for about 150 emails they ahd to bring down the exchange server to resolve the issue lol ..... awww that was a good day....

    Look at it this way, if you have enough members to thank that it crashes the system, JD is doing pretty well.
