Edge of Tomorrow / All You Need Is Kill

I didn't know this until I stumbled across the information online, but the new movie Edge of Tomorrow is based on the light-novel All You Need Is Kill. I'd read the light-novel and rather liked it, but haven't yet seen the movie.

Anyone else read or seen either?

 

I've seen the movie; it was good.
The story is well explained (at least I think, I did not read the ln).

Only in the beginning do you live days that are almost the same, then we seem to skip many many many days between everyday you see, so I guess that differs from the ln.

 

I've not read the novel, but I did see the movie. I kind of expected it to suck but it was actually pretty good. The best thing I've seen Tom Cruise in, in a while.
