Disney XD began streaming a video on Wednesday for its broadcast of the Beyblade Burst television anime. The video features the anime's English dub, and reveals the anime's premiere date on December 19.

The anime will get a two-week premiere event, with new episodes every day from Monday to Saturday from December 19 to December 31 at 9:00 a.m. EST. After December 31, the series will move to its regular timeslot on Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. EST.

The official English website for Beyblade Burst streamed a trailer for the English dub in September:

The series began airing on Canada's Teletoon channel on September 10.

The anime premiered in Japan on April 4 and is ongoing. Katsuhito Akiyama (Inazuma Eleven, Bubblegum Crisis, El-Hazard: The Wanderers) directed the anime at OLM or Oriental Light and Magic (Yo-kai Watch, Pokémon) with character designs by Toshiaki Ōhashi (chief animation director of Danbōru Senki W, Danbōru Senki Wars). Hideki Sonoda (Pokémon franchise, Machine Robo: Revenge of Chronos, Sonic Soldier Borgman) handled the series scripts.

Production company d-rights describes the show:
Beyblades are the most popular battle tops in the world. Boys around the globe put their hearts and souls into fierce Beyblade battles. Valt Aoi is a fifth-grade elementary school student who is crazy about Beyblade. Valt's best friend since childhood, Shu Kurenai, is hailed as a Beyblade prodigy and has already been named as one of the National Beyblade Tournament's Final Four. Inspired by Shu's accomplishments, Valt sets his sights on reaching this year's national tournament.

But to get to the big leagues, he must first emerge victorious from the district tournament––no easy feat, given the tough opponents standing in his way.

Determined to win, Valt aims to make it to the championship, where he hopes to battle Shu and move on to the national tournament. As he battles, Valt broadens his circle of friends and reaches new heights. Without even realizing it, he has begun to dream of becoming the best Blader in the world.

Toy company Hasbro and d-rights' U.S. subsidiary Sunrights announced plans in February to launch the Beyblade Burst toys and anime outside of Japan. Toys "R" Us launched the toys in Canada in September. Sunrights will launch a Beyblade Burst app for iOS and Android devices. The app will allow users to scan their Beyblade Burst toys and battle with them over local wifi. Hasbro will distribute the toys in the United States beginning in January.
