Denki-gai's Asato Mizu Launches Death Game Manga

    Manga debuts in January
    [​IMG]The January issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Flapper announced on Tuesday that Asato Mizu will launch a new manga tentatively titled Death Game in the next issue on January 5. The tagline on the image reads, "It's time! Please start killing each other."

    Mizu ended the Denkigai no Honya-san manga in the same magazine in November. The manga had been running since 2011 and it inspired the Denki-Gai television anime in 2014. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan, and Ponycan USA released the series on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in 2015.

    Mizu also launched the ongoing Aharen-san wa Hakarenai manga on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ manga app in January. The second volume shipped on Monday in Japan.
