Tsuyoshi Yasuda and Saori Otoha's DAYS Gaiden spinoff manga entered its final arc on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket website and app on Thursday.

Otoha and Yasuda launched the manga in October 2016, and Kodansha published the second volume on August 17. Kodansha will publish the third volume on March 16.

The manga is a spinoff of Yasuda's main DAYS manga, and features an omnibus of stories, switching its focus between different characters to tell the pasts and private lives of characters in the main manga

Yasuda launched DAYS in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in April 2013, Kodansha Advanced Media began releasing the manga digitally in English last year.

Kodansha Advanced Media describes the story:

During his last spring break before starting high school, Tsukushi Tsukamoto meets Jin Kazama, who invites him to a pick-up soccer game. Their chance meeting, and his first-ever experience with soccer, move kind-hearted, timid Tsukushi to enroll in his new high school's soccer club, which is among the strongest in all of Japan. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, there's something amazing hidden inside Tsukushi's heart … and through his trials and tribulations in the soccer club, it's beginning to blossom!
A 24-episode television anime series based on the manga ran from July to December of 2016. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. Ponycan USA announced plans to release the series in the United States.

The limited editions of the 21st and 22nd manga volumes bundled OADs when they shipped in March 2017 and May 2017, respectively. A three-part OAD "finale" project to the 2016 television anime's story is shipping with three upcoming manga volumes this year. The anime will available in limited editions of manga volumes 26 to 28 on March 16, May 17, and July 17.
