Crunchyroll Streams Kiznaiver Episode 0, Hatsune Miku Expo 2014 New York Event

    Media distribution service Crunchyroll announced on Saturday that it is now streaming the "episode 0" special for Studio Trigger's Kiznaiver television anime series. The episode is available for a week only to Crunchyroll members worldwide except for Asia and French- and German-speaking Europe.

    The special aired in Japan on Saturday and features the show's cast talking about the show and playing games.

    The series will premiere on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11 on April 9 at 11:30 p.m. The series will also air on TV Aichi and ABC Asahi Broadcasting, and it will also stream on Niconico on Sundays at 10 p.m. Crunchyroll will stream the anime series starting on April 9 at 11:30 a.m. EDT.

    Crunchyroll also announced on March 23 that it is streaming the live footage Hatsune Miku Expo 2014 - New York event. The stream is available to all Crunchyroll users worldwide excluding Japan and China.

    The footage includes a live performance by Crypton Future Media's Hatsune Miku virtual vocaloid singer.

    The Hatsune Miku Expo series of events feature live performances by Hatsune Miku that travels through multiple countries. The event held a Los Angeles and New York leg in October 2014, with the New York event held in the Hammerstein Ballroom. A Blu-ray Disc containing footage for the event shipped last July.

    Hatsune Miku Expo 2016 launched in Japan last month with an event in Fukuoka, and will travel to Namba, Nagoya, Sapporo, and Tokyo. Planned events in North America will take place in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Toronto, Chicago, New York, Monterrey, and Mexico City from April to June. The event will then travel to Taiwan on June 25.​
