Crunchyroll Adds Nazotokine, Crane Game Girls Galaxy, Teekyū Season 8

Crunchyroll announced on Tuesday that it will stream Nazotokine, Crane Game Girls Galaxy, and the eighth season of the Teekyū anime.

Crunchyroll will begin streaming Nazotokine on Wednesday, October 5 at 11:45 a.m. EDT, and will be available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, and Central and South America, including the Caribbean.

Suddenly the area got enveloped in light,and she couldn't get out of the meeting room! On top of that something like a monster showed up and said it would only let her go if she solved some puzzles!

Not really understanding what was going on, she decided to solve the puzzles first and think about it later!

Naoya Fukushi created the anime concept and is directing it at Tengu Kobou. Hitomi Takano is designing the characters, and Hiroyuki Moriyama (anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day) is serving as chief director of photography. Hiroaki Yabunaka is handling the sound effects, and Hikaru Nakatsugawa is producing. Nationally-ranked shogi player Yūki Hasegawa and comedian Ayumi Masui (under the stage name Peyon-Jun) are collaborating on the scenario writing, and Dream Vision's Takanori Morita is collaborating on making the puzzles to solve.

Yuzu Fujisaki is performing the opening theme song "Dimension Sky," and aki is performing the ending theme song "destiny."

Crunchyroll will begin streaming Crane Game Girls Galaxy (Bishōjo Yūgi Unit Crane Geeru Galaxy) on Wednesday, October 5 at 11:30 a.m. EDT, and will be available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, and Central and South America, including the Caribbean.

The story centers on three girls: Mirai (Natsuko Hara), Ayaka (Sora Tokui), and Kyōko (Rico Sasaki). The three are the only ones who can save Earth from being destroyed by a group of asteroids. They are hired by Sayo, the representative of a shadowy organization, and the organization starts work on turning them into an idol group. While the trio are more than prepared to be idols, they are instead taken into an arcade.

Tommy Hino returns to direct the series at Kyotoma, but Kazuho Hyodo(Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, ReLIFE) replaces Uematsu Inoue as the scenario and scriptwriter. Fuyuri returns as the character designer. Hara, Tokui, and Rico Sasaki are performing the show's opening theme song "Galaxy Party" as their characters, and aki a.k.a. Aki Deguchi is performing the ending theme song "Zettaiteki Seiten Aozora" (Absolute Blue Sky Weather).

The 13-episode first season premiered in April. Each episode had a five-minute anime segment and a 16-minute live-action segment featuring the cast playing crane games. Crunchyroll streamed the anime segments in various territories as it aired in Japan.

Crunchyroll will begin streaming the eighth season of Teekyū on Wednesday, October 5 at 10:40 a.m. EDT, and will be available worldwide except for Asia.

The original manga and the anime both follow the everyday lives of four girls in a high school tennis club — although they hardly play any tennis.

Shin Itagaki is once again directing, writing, storyboarding, designing the characters, and directing the sound in the upcoming season at Millepensee.

Piyo and Roots launched the original Teekyū manga in Comic Earth Star in early 2012, and the first anime season was announced just months later on the manga's first book volume. Earth Star Entertainment claims that this is the fastest television anime adaptation ever. A second and third season followed. Crunchyroll streamed the previous seven seasons of the show, as well as the Takamiya Nasuno Desu! and Usakame spinoffs, as they aired in Japan.

The show's seventh season premiered on January 11, after the sixth season premiered last October, and the fifth season premiered in July 2015. The spinoff series Takamiya Nasuno Desu! (I am Nasuno Takamiya) also premiered in April 2015. Piyo and Roots' spinoff manga Usakame also received a television anime, which premiered on April 11. Starting from the fourth season of Teekyū, production switched from MAPPA to Millepensee, and the studio also produced the Takamiya Nasuno Desu! and Usakame spinoffs.​
