Important Consolidated Forum Sections

The following changes have been made to the forum index. This is to eliminate clutter and give a more simplistic layout. This also helps with post synergy, with the utilization of subsections, so new users aren't discouraged by looking for topics which are too far spread out.

• Parent categories renamed
• Anime news and reviews sections are now child nodes in anime chat, same with manga etc
• Anime and manga chat merged
• Movies and television and video game chat moved into "news & discussions" category
• Hall of the elders and tech temple now child nodes in off topic
• Off topic section moved to news and discussions
• Remaining nodes in community and entertainment were merged into one category
  
• JanCast child section moved to Events parent
  
• Justentertainment section deleted. threads like Oh Japan, JAN field trips, Caption This, etc were moved into the asylum.
• Justanimeforum section merged with info and updates
• Feedback section reworked as customer support
• Various staff sections were also consolidated

True that forums are a dying breed what with instant communications like social media and chat systems taking over and becoming more prominent. This is why we have started a process on the forum to bring activity back. It starts with simplifying the forum index. Merging, moving and shrinking down the visible sections and to consolidate everything. Next is to highlight things on the forum which our social media and chats can't replicate: anime and other types of discussions that last longer than a day, club activities, games, exclusive contests.

We have a great means of driving in traffic to the forum - our streaming site. It just takes some things like highlighting customer support, requests, reports, etc on our forum. Engaging those users helps bring them to the site. Promoting those areas of the site help bring the traffic in. The market is just very competitive and we need our current users to post more so we dont make the forum look like its dead.
