Comedy spinoff launches on December 22, 2nd manga by Tomofumi Ogasawara launches in 2018
The January 2018 issue of Kadokawa's Newtype magazine revealed on Saturday that the Code Geass franchise will get two more new manga.

The first manga is titled Katei Kyōshi no Lelouch-san (Lelouch the Home Tutor) by Urushidama, a comedy spinoff manga that casts Lelouch as a home tutor of C.C. The manga will launch on the Comic Newtype website on December 22.

The second manga is tentatively titled Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch, the same title as the main anime series, and is described as a "definitive edition." Tomofumi Ogasawara (Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Endless Waltz: Glory of the Losers) is drawing the manga, which is slated to launch on Comic Newtype in 2018.

The Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch Gaiden - Shiro no Kishi, Kurenai no Yasha (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - Lancelot & Guren) spinoff manga (pictured above) launched with a prologue chapter on Comic Newtype on November 26. The manga's first chapter will debut on December 22. The manga centers on stories about both Suzaku and Kallen that were not portrayed in the original story. Bisui Takahashi (Shūmatsu Sekai no Spellbreaker light novels) is penning the scenario, and Takahiro Kimura is drawing the character designs. Atsushi Soga is drawing the art. Astrays is responsible for the new Knightmare Frame designs.

The franchise is also getting another spinoff titled Code Geass Danshō - Mosaic no Kakera (Code Geass Story Fragment - Piece of the Mosaic). The new work will debut this fall on the official website of Yatate Bunko, Sunrise's new light novel imprint. The work will be an omnibus work that will focus on six different protagonists whose lives are affected and changed by the events of the main story.

Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Kōdō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - The Awakening Path), the first film in the planned compilation film trilogy for the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 anime series, opened on October 21. Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Handō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - The Rebellion Path), the second film, opens on February 10. Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Ōdō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - The Imperial Path), the third film, is slated for May 2018.

The franchise is receiving a sequel project titled Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection). The format of the sequel has not yet been revealed.
