That's right today CNN acknowledged the success of Dragonball Z in particular Resurrection F has had an even interviewed Justin Rogas from Funimation. Justin goes on talking during the interview about the success Dragonball Z has had over it's long and still on-going lifespan and how they were able to make it as successful as it was along with why they think it succeeded as well as it did. Now if you ask me it's rather dope that a large corporation like CNN is acknowledging the anime industry. This proves a really big step forward for anime. Over the last couple years we have seen movies air in our theaters and we should all focus on the positives and continue supporting this trend. I'll even attach a link to the interview if anybody is interested in seeing it. Express how you feel about this along with any concerns. Personal we should all continue to support this so it can continue on for many more years to come.

Actually, Justin's last name is spelled Rojas.

Anyways, Funimation being interviewed by CNN is quite interesting. I guess the anime industry has finally been recognized as being successful, as far as importing and dubbing goes at least. Funimation has come a long way, as evidenced by their ability to push simulcasts and broadcast dubs. This is what can happen when people actually financially support the anime industry and not just leech and pirate all the time. If any of you find a series you like after watching it through Toonami (on Adult Swim/Cartoon Network (US)), Netflix, or other streaming services, BUY IT! Funimation does take notice to what is a hit and what bombs just through the sales of DVD and Blu-ray of the anime they licensed. If any of you want to see more anime from Japan, remember that financially supporting the anime industry is the best way to keep it going whether its subscribing to Funimation directly (for access to anime that Funimation currently has a license for) or buying the DVD/Blu-ray releases.
