Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond Anime's Promo Video Previews Action

The official website for Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond (Kekkai Sensen & Beyond), the second anime season based on Yasuhiro Nightow's Blood Blockade Battlefront manga, began streaming the anime's promotional video on Sunday.



The anime will premiere on MBS, Tokyo MX, and BS11 in October. The new series will explore the connection between Michella and Leo and will also explore the mysteries of the "All Seeing Eyes of God."

The returning main cast includes:

• Daisuke Sakaguchi as Leonardo Watch
• Nana Mizuki as Michella Watch
• Rikiya Koyama as Klaus Von Reinhertz
• Kazuya Nakai as Zapp Renfro
• Yu Kobayashi as Chain Sumeragi
• Hikaru Midorikawa as Zed O'Brien
• Ai Orikasa as K.K.
• Banjou Ginga as Gilbert F. Altstein
• Mitsuru Miyamoto as Steven A. Starphase
• Yūma Uchida as Sonic Speed Monkey

BONES will once again animate the new series. Shigehito Takayanagi(Galaxy Angel A, The World God Only Knows, Dagashi Kashi) is taking over as director of the anime from the previous season's Rie Matsumoto, and Yasuko Kamo (Dagashi Kashi) is also taking over series composition duties from Kazunao Furuya. Toshihiro Kawamoto returns as character designer and chief animation director, and Taisei Iwasaki returns to compose the music.
