Blood Blockade Battlefront Back 2 Back Manga To Bundle New Anime Dvd

Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond team tells stories about Zapp, Chain on July 4
The online retailers Amazon and Mangaoh list Yasuhiro Nightow's fifth Blood Blockade Battlefront Back 2 Back manga volume in a bundle with a new Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond anime DVD on July 4. Production will be limited to the number of pre-orders received, and the deadline to pre-order is April 23.


The DVD will run about 24 minutes long with the original video anime episodes "Zapp Renfro Inga Ōhō-jū!!" (Zapp Renfro in Retribution!!) starring the character Zapp Renfro, and "Bakkaadio no Shizuku" (Bakkaadio's Drops) starring Chain. The first episode adapts a story from the fourth Blood Blockade Battlefront Back 2 Back manga volume, while the second episode adapts a story from the second Blood Blockade Battlefront Back 2 Back manga volume.

Shigehito Takayanagi is returning from the Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond television anime to direct at the studio BONES.

Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond, the second television anime season adapting Nightow's Blood Blockade Battlefront manga, premiered on October 7. Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed the series as it aired.
