The start of 2020 means we’re not too far off the next Marvel movie – and the beginning of the MCU’s Phase 4. Kicking the whole thing off will be the long-awaited Black Widow solo movie, a more grounded spy tale focusing on Scarlett Johansson’s Russian operative Natasha Romanoff that digs into the secret past she spent the Avengers and Captain America movies running away from. In the wake of yesterday’s Oscars nominations, we have a new ‘Special Look’ trailer that zones heavily in on ScarJo’s heroine, and Florence Pugh’s incoming ‘sister’ Yelena – both having just received nods for the Academy Awards. Watch the new teaser here.

As well as offering plenty of footage of Pugh, this one teases more of mysterious villain Taskmaster – a soldier-type who has the ability to mimic the moves of whoever they meet. Instead of using it to win dance competitions or nab gold at the Olympics, they’re putting their talent in the service of evil – what a shame. Intriguingly, it looks like the Taskmaster might have a Vibranium shield – Romanoff’s bullets pinging off it without a scratch. Plus, there’s more of the family vibe shown off in the last trailer – including more of the reunion with Rachel Weisz’ Melina and David Harbour’s Red Guardian.

The film comes from Berlin Syndrome director Cate Shortland, and will arrive in UK cinemas on 1 May.
