Infinite Stratos/Macross Frontier's Yasuhito Kikuchi directs sci-fi series premiering in October
Bandai Visual began streaming a music video on Sunday for its original television anime seriesComet Lucifer. TRUE performs the video's song "Story of Lucifer," which also serves as one of the show's image song. The anime series will premiere in October.

The show's official website has also revealed the staff, cast, character designs, and story for the series.

The story takes place on the planet Gift, where precious crystals called Giftjium are buried in the earth. A young man named Sōgo lives in Garden Indigo, a prosperous mining town. Sōgo's hobby is to collect rare crystals. One day, he gets wrapped up in a riot caused by his classmates Kaon, Roman, and Otto, and he loses his way until he finds a lake deep under the ground's mining ruins. There, he meets a mysterious girl with blue hair and red eyes that gaze straight ahead. The story follows the adventure of what happens after this meeting.

    The cast is as follows:

Yūsuke Kobayashi as Sōgo Amagi, an immature young man who lives in Garden Indigo. Both of his parents are dead, and he lives with Do Mon. His mother was a Giftjium researcher, and because of that he loves large crystals.
