Kadokawa began streaming an ad on August 25 for a complete Blu-ray Disc box set of the Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts anime franchise. The video reveals that the box set will include a new "mini animation."

The official website for the anime series had originally announced the boxset with the new anime work on July 28.

The box set will include all 13 episodes of Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts, all 13 episodes of Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts 2, and both episodes of the Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts OVA. The set will also include five unaired anime that featured on the previous season 1 Blu-ray Disc and DVD release, and two unaired anime that featured on the previous season 2 Blu-ray Disc and DVD release.

The Blu-ray Disc box set ships on November 29, and retails for 32,000 yen (about US$290).

The anime adapts Kenji Inoue and Yui Haga's Baka to Test to Shōkanjū light novel series. The first season aired in 2010, and the second season aired in 2011. The two OVA episodes shipped in 2011.

Funimation released the first series on DVD and Blu-ray Disc in 2011, and then again on DVD in 2014. The company released the second season on DVD and Blu-ray Disc in 2013, and then again on DVD with the OVA episodes in 2014.
