Azure Reflections Touhou Project Game Launches For Nintendo Switch On August 30

    Sony publishing label Unties Games announced on Wednesday that Souvenir Circ.'s Azure Reflections Touhou Project "bullet hell" (danmaku) shooter game will launch for Nintendo Switch in the West on August 30 for US$24.99.

    The company began streaming a Switch launch trailer that shows characters and gameplay last week .



    Unties Games describes the game:

    Enter the troubled, cute and colorful world of Gensokyo. Originally created by one-man studio Team Shanghai Alice, the setting, sealed off from our world by a magical barrier, is the thread from which all Touhou Project games are woven. This Touhou Project fan game brings the humans and supernatural denizens of Gensokyo together to investigate the evil flowing from Scarlet Devil Manor. Can they protect their home from delightfully cruel bosses in this whimsical journey?

    Azure Reflections launched for the PlayStation 4 in Japan in January and in the West on May 15. A PC version debuted in 2012.
