    Welcome to the second edition of Ancient April!

    This game seems to be popular as we did this last year aswell. I guess it speaks for itself you have to vote for the ''historical'' characters you like most. It will be all about personal preference.

    Just like last month there are 10 nominated characters and 6 added ones. I took 2 characters from the 70s, 2 from the 80s and 2 from the 90s. I wonder if they're actually as popular as those sites said they are. I know Spike Spiegel is.

    RULES:
    - Keep your butthurt to a minimum.

    - Votes must be tallied in order to be valid.

    - Use the Spoiler Insert when needed.

    - Do not make fake accounts in order for your contestant to win, they will be invalid, we know who participates in these games. To ensure this rule gets followed, a new account must have atleast 5 posts in other sections of this forum. The asylum does not count. If you are a new member you could for example introduce yourself to the community in the introduction thread.

    - In the case of a tie, I will ask the two members who nominated each contestant to PM me a number.

    - If you do not send in a number before one of the 2 characters are to start their next round, your character will be disqualified. If both numbers are not sent in time, both characters will be disqualified and the character in the next round will get a free pass.

    - The match ends after the next match has been posted. Any votes within this time will count. (new rule)

    - You cannot change your nominations once the game has started.

    - I will tag everyone for every matchup. If you don't like being tagged that much just tell me and i will remove your name from that list.

    - Rules are subject to change if necessary.

    Space Cowboy. While I'm not the largest fan of this franchise I know how iconic it is especially in the west. Galaxy Express is something I've not seen in the slightest but I know it has numerous iterations.
    But known popularity gets my vote

    Voltron is more iconic for Voltron itself, never knew the characters in the mech. And nowadays isn't Hunter x Hunter a 2011 series to most people? I've been told to skip watching the original altogether before. Not that I'll listen.

    It is nowadays but it still has it's roots in the 90s ofcourse. When i searched for a HxH picture from the original series i got a feeling i really want to watch the 90s series. The only problem is that it stops and the 2011 version continues way past that point. Btw, you are my first ever lucky friend :D
