A television anime adaptation of Tetsuya Imai's Alice to Zouroku manga has been green-lit for next year.

The fantasy story begins with a group of young girls who hold a power named "Alice's Dream," which allows them to make their imaginations come true. These girls have been locked up and treated as research subjects. Sana, one of these girls whose specific power includes the ability ignore the laws of physics and physically manifest anything she can imagine, has escaped. Afterwards, she meets an old man named Zouroku, who dislikes disruptions in his everyday life.

Imai launched the manga in the December 2012 issue of Tokuma Shoten's Monthly Comic Ryū magazine, and Tokuma Shoten will publish the seventh compiled book volume of the manga on November 11. The manga won the New Face Award in the 17th Japan Media Arts Festival Awards in 2013.

The January 2017 issue of Monthly Comic Ryū magazine will have the anime announcement on its cover, as well a color opening page for the latest manga chapter.
