The official website for the television anime of Tarō Hitsuji's Roku de Nashi Majutsu Kōshi to Akashic Records (Akashic Records of bastard magic instructor) light novels posted the artists for the anime's theme songs and its second promotional video on Sunday. The video introduces the story and previews the ending theme song "Precious You☆" by the characters Sistine (as voiced by Akane Fujita), Rumia (Yume Miyamoto), and Re-L (Ari Ozawa).

Konomi Suzuki is performing the opening theme song "Blow out," and the CD singles for both theme songs go on sale on May 24. The series will premiere in April on the AT-X, Tokyo MX, MBS, TV Aichi, and BS11 channels. Every day between Sunday and Tuesday, the anime's website is posting a new Valentine illustration on its top page:

However, when a terrible incident threatens the school, Glenn shows intense dedication to protecting his students.

    The cast features:

Minato Kazuto is directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS. Touko Machida (Lucky Star, The IDOLM@STER, The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan) is both writing and overseeing the scripts, Satoshi Kimura (Terraformars) is serving as both character designer and chief animation director, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Kuromukuro, Monster Musume, Orange) is composing the music.

Kurone Mishima (The Devil is a Part-Timer! High School!, KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!!) provides the illustrations for the original light novels. Fujimi Shobo published the seventh light novel on October 20 in Japan.

Aosa Tsunemi began drawing a manga adaptation in Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in March 2015. Fujimi Shobo also published a collection of short stories, titled Roku de Nashi Majutsu Kōshi to Tsuisō Nishi, in March.
