The staff of Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Shūrai! Uchūjin Shiriri (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Invasion! Alien Shiriri), the Crayon Shin-chan franchise's 25th anime film, revealed the film's trailer, visual, cast, and theme song artist on Friday.

The film's story begins when Shiriri, an alien, arrives and turns Hiroshi and Misae into children. To turn them back, Shinnosuke must travel the length of Japan with Shiriri hidden in his butt. Meanwhile, Shiriri's father is moving forward with a huge conspiracy.

The guest roles in the film include Hiroyuki Miyasako and Tōru Hotohara of the comedy duo Ameagari Kesshitai, and Mirai Shida. Miyasako is voicing Shiriri's father, an alien who wants to take over earth. Hotohara is voicing Mulderder, a mysterious man with a partner named Casully who wants to stay close to the Nohara family. Shida is playing herself.

Masakazu Hashimoto (Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Ora no Hikkoshi Monogatari ~Saboten Daishūgeki) is directing the film, and Yuu Takahashi is performing the film's theme song "Road Movie." The film will open on April 15.

The 24th film, Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Bakusui! Yumemi World Dai Totsugeki (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie Fast Asleep! The Large Attack on the Dreaming World), premiered in Japan last April, and earned 400,519,100 yen (about US$3.67 million) in its opening weekend.
