Oh, dat engrish... And Kay was quite confused by the Maki thing. I didn't mention 'cause I forgot due to watching it the other day, but not posting until last night. XP
Considering they are going on a trip I want to hear even more engrish. Although english would be good.
Maki what is happening? I want to know what the Japanese think about this.
I watched it the day I posted and not once since so you've got a poor memory.
Wonder if there'll be legit voices for where they're going...
I've already seen cosplay of the scene
Psshhh. I already know I have a shit memory. The amount of people I randomly run into at uni who're like "Oh, hi Riley" and I don't even have the faintest idea of who they are...
I want to say yes since others have, but the more likely answer is no.
You've seen cosplay of it? Link?
Haha I like the sound of this, lots of fun interactions for you on a regular basis.
Booooo... I like the effort that KyoAni goes to for their foreign voices. See K-On! movie and that thing in Free.
It was on Facebook a bit ago. Lemme see... Nope, can't find it, sorry. Might have been on Kay's Facebook.
Yeah... the last one I had to casually bluff may way through... XP
Me too, those proper english voices are definitely needed when they interact with people overseas. It annoys me when they all speak Japanese. I've seen both of your examples by the way.
You can't find the Maki cosplay? Boooo to you.
Sounds fun, how often must you do that?
Yup... Or have Japanese accent.
I know; was just stating the proper way to do it, like "see *reference*."
*Raspberry*
Had to do it again today... The guy's face looked sorta familiar...
The engrish is strong in anime.
I know, really how hard would it be to find a random white guy in Akihabara and offer him a job voicing "foreign guy" listed in the credits?
Do want Maki cosplay pics, better find them.
Wow so it really is a common occurrence for you, such fun. Ever get busted not remembering who someone was?
It's good when they're actually Japanese characters though.
Haha, that'd be so brilliant! And I bet it'd be much better than any fake English! Take this idea to them!!
But I don't know where is...
Yup... There are apparently a number of people in uni who know me... I should get a badge saying "I'm awful with names and faces; please don't take offence if I don't recognise you."
Not as of yet...
In that case the engrish is fine, why can't they learn this?
Maybe whit guy anime fans are crap at voicing them and have failed their expectations in the past. Could be possible. I wonder where Kyoani gets them.
you must find it.
Haha that'd be a way to deal with it. Although this ruins no one knowing you've forgotten them.
I don't even know...
Right, that'd explain things... Maybe KyoAni actually goes to the respective locations or something? I mean, how'd they get the bogans for Free otherwise?
I don't know where though...
Happened again yesterday... He even knew about my Hanekawa and cat-people obsessions; he thought it might be me from behind, but wasn't sure until he saw my Hanekawa wallpaper.
I want to say that is unlikely but I don't know. The movie Giovanni no Shima had Russians, and a trip to Russia listed about it for info. Choose white guy, give a few drinks?
You must find it.
Haha awesome, its like he knows all your details but you've never met him. Maybe you need flashcards to help remember people.
