    Believe it or not there is an anime with that premise, Aquarion Logos. While it sounds interesting I wouldn't recommend it despite being a fan of the original franchise.

    Just don't watch it, I managed because 1 ep a week but still it was bad. Plenty of other crap you can watch instead.
