    It's for the name's meaning "hope/wish." When I was first getting into Japanese culture and anime, over 10 years ago, my friend and I both picked Japanese names. I wanted a name for either dreams or hope. I liked that Nozomi was less common than Yume. So I choose that name. The " young" is one meaning of my birth name. So my username combines the two names. Nozomi is also one of the fastest bullet trains in Japan.
