Sounds like you've got a good line up for anime, Gintama, Death Note and Black Lagoon. I'm surprised that this is the first time you're actually watching Black Lagoon. Yeah Kamui is pretty cool. Smiling while killing as respect for the person he kills. Fucking awesome. Kagura went insane for a moment too in this arc, her true nature came up.

The screw driver eps... As in going into a game virtually to find the aliens that turned them into a screw driver? That mught be the best Gintama episodes ever. I was gonna mention this to you. Katsura trying to express his emotions inside a game. Freaking hilarious. I wanna rewatch these eps some time, thats how good they were.

Revy is really awesome.. I like all characters actually. Rock is kind of stupid at times, but he's cool in his way too. Dutch is awesome, i even like Benny. And in the last ep we watched, Roberta showed up.

But less anime and forum time.... it is work in a newsagents, I sell magazines and lotto part time.
Kamui is nothing but awesome, too bad he doesn't appear more often. Kagura going crazy was amazing too, best female in anime right there as far as I'm concerned. Do want more.

Those are the eps, oh god one of the funniest arcs. I kind of forget Katsura's emotions in the game though. What was he doing again?

Yep Revy is awesome, so now you understand why everyone liked her in that elimination game the other month. I completely agree that the cast is great, they just work so well together. Enjoy Roberta for she is one interesting maid. Are you watching the dub or sub?

Arguably, she might be. I'd have to think too hard about the best female character. Male character same story.

Well in a game you can't show your emotions the way you do in real life, so you type them, like ''lol'', ''rofl'', ''sigh'' that kind of words. But they were talking with their own voices. Katsura however didn't really understand you can just say normal everyday words to show your emotions so he ended every sentence with lol or whatever emotion he wanted to show in that sentence. It was really great.

Oh i do. What was the elimination game though? Chicks with guns?
We're watching the dub on Ovyda's initiative. And it's a good thing since just Rock is Japanese on their crew, it's natural they talk english.

It is, although I'm not watching a great series at the moment so I'm managing just fine.
Kagura is my favourite female character, hilarious and bad arse without being annoying gets my approval.

I remember that now, Zura really couldn't get the hang of it. I think I'd be the same in his situation though. Wasn't his name Fruit Punch Samurai and his ally being Kondo?

Ah good choice, I watched the dub before I was a sub only watcher and that made it even better I think. I watched parts subbed and it just wasn't the same.

Haha yep fruit punch samurai and Kondo was his best friend in the game without realising they are actually enemies irl.

I just looked it up and it was indeed Anti April of this year, but in Chicks with Guns (which is June 2013 btw, can't believe that's been so long) Revy came in 2nd losing a random number game in the final to Seras Victoria of Helsing. So she might aswell have been the winner of that game too.

The walls that are overcome when no one knows the real person. It would have been interesting to see the Zura and Kondo friendship continue longer but oh well. You haven't made it to the Sket Dance crossover yet have you?

That was what I though, Anti April she won and you questioned it. She was close but for some reason people decided screw her for the gun elim, I think she deserved that more than Seras.

There is another ep where they lose their memory i think and become great friends.
I rewatched some of the ep and it was even better than i remember it. Zura even said emotions about how dumb someone is, while usually you only think that, he thinks inside a game he needs to say it. Brilliant.

No havent seen a Sket Dance crossover. This Yoshiwara arc is taking way too long. Hosen has been defeated but they still need one more ep to finish it. Only interesting things this arc had to offer were Kamui's introduction and learning what happens to a Yato clan member when he's exposed to sunlight.

Well, Hosen has been underground for a long time which made this reaction, but i guess this happens to any Yato if they dont use their umbrella's.

Decided to screw her, idk. It was a tie and Seras won the random number game. I do think after watching Black Lagoon she definitely deserves it over Seras, although i havent watched enough Helsing to rly judge.
I would have voted for Revy if i had seen Black Lagoon back then. So this time around she would win it.

What i also like in Gintama is when they show the outside of the oddjobs building and just talk about how terrible the Gintama anime is and how they should avoid being cancelled. You'd think this gets old real quick, but it doesn't.

Poor Zura, he is hilarious. I completely forgot he did that. To already rewatch an ep, you must be really enjoying this show.

I think the Sket Dance crossover is in the next season, I got ahead of myself. I liked the Yoshiwara arc though, that Hosen fight was pretty good as well as berserk Kagura.

Not really, Yato are weaker to sunlight so they'd burn, but Hosen hadn't seen sunlight in years and since he is weak to it that became a fatal weakness.

Revy totally deserves the guns win because she only uses them, Seras used a big arse gun once and that huge rifle like gun once. Revy was the more deserving.

I love that, whenever it started with that background I'd already laugh. "Same old background", what other show can do this really? Blaming the lazy staff, this show is brilliant.

I didnt officially rewatch it though. Just a couple of minutes with Zura typing.

It wasn't bad, just the typical shounen things were all there and it took too long. I lost my attention a couple of times. Good story though and the fight between Gintoki and Hosen was good.

True. It felt like i was exaggerating while saying it, but didn't find the right words for it. This is exactly what they said in the eps. Hosen being so long underground, away from the sun, it became fatal for him. I loved the plan the mother came up with to open the roof.

They have done an ep where Shinpachi and Kagura wanted to get stronger and everyone attempted to help them. In the end the ep was about a bear and a fitness instructor. Fucking hilarious........
Now currently Hijikata and Okita are captured by someone whos playing a game with the shinsengumi. They have to let one of the 2 die and try to save the rest of the crew from a bomb. So far great humour once again.
