    The Copyright Notice Scheme Industry Code creates a Copyright Notice Scheme through which residential fixed internet users who are alleged to have infringed copyright online will receive an escalating series of infringement notices designed to change their behavior and steer them toward lawful sources of content. The Scheme has a strong emphasis on public education and does not contain explicit sanctions against internet users, but does provide for a ‘facilitated preliminary discovery’ process through which ISPs can assist Rights Holders who may decide to take legal action against persistent infringers.

    I love how it seems that the government only ever tries to screw us over. "Lawful sources of content" basically would rule out everything including youtube would it not? Anime just is not here in Aus, if I were to lose being able to watch online then I am completely screwed.
    What lawful sources are there for us to watch stuff online with anyway? Well if this comes to anything I guess I'll be done.
    If this was brought about by Abbott's party specifically they are even more done in the coming election than they already are.

    Time to watch all of the hentai before it comes into effect........ I mean I don't watch that stuff.


    Will be watching to see how this changes over time.

    If he even makes the election. According to the news last night, Malcolm Turnbull has the support of a lot of the backbenchers if he were to move against Abbott.

    Especially with the awareness of how easy it is for other entities (the gov't for example) to monitor your traffic and what exactly you are doing.
    Just technology awareness in general is pushing us towards VPNs and user protection from other entities.

    After watching the news tonight it doesn't seem likely that he will last even until the end of next week. Either way though it seems they've lost the next election already to me, the damage has been done.
    I still can't believe that the masses elected a man that ran around in red budgie smugglers on national television numerous times to lead the country.

    See this I don't remember, I hardly watch the news as is but when Howard was important I couldn't care less about the news. I also hate following the government issues in the first place as they are always so boring.
    As for who I'd deserve, no one. Anyone in the government seems to be annoying when they give a speech.
