Toradora! Anime to be Re-Released with English Dub

    NIS America announced on Tuesday that it will re-issue the Toradora! romantic comedy anime series on Blu-ray with an English dub. The premium and standard box sets are slated for release on July 1. The premium edition will include four Blu-ray and four DVD discs and retail for US$129.99. The standard edition will be released in two separate box sets and retail for US$59.99 each.

    The dub cast includes:

    Cassandra Lee Morris as Taiga Aisaka
    Erik Scott Kimerer as Ryuji Takasu
    Christine Marie Cabanos as Minori Kushieda
    Johnny Yong Bosch as Yusaku Kitamura
    Erika Harlacher as Ami Kawashima

    NIS America describes the story:
    Ryuji Takasu is cursed with his father's threatening face and is labeled a "delinquent" because of it. Even though this makes it difficult for him to meet people, he is madly in love with Minorin, the one girl who does not flee from him in terror. Taiga Aisaka is a notorious hothead with the nickname "Palm-top Tiger." She also happens to be Minorin's best friend, and what's more, Taiga has a crush on Ryuji's closest friend. This unlikely duo strikes a tenuous agreement to assist one another in stealing the hearts of the ones they love. They will face many hurdles along the way, but perhaps true love is closer to them than they think.


    The premium box set will include all 25 episodes and the original anime video and a hardcover book. Video extras include clean opening and endings, four mini-episodes, bonus clips, and TV spots.

    Toradora! was NIS America's first anime title on DVD in North America. The anime was released on Blu-ray in Japan in 2011.

    I always intended on watch this but it kind of slipped off my radar but I will definitely be watch this when the dub is released.

    anyone know where to watch the dub? its already been released but i cant find it anywhere. and dont tell me to buy it i dont have that kind of money.

    well that sucks -_- nothing worse than a bad dub of an awesome subbed anime, do I dare even watch a dubbed episode I wonder...

    yea I watched the sub ages ago and loved it! all I can wish for now is more of toradora, its the best romance / comedy I have ever seen!

    yea it was quite the perfect ending, couldnt ask for much more, but maybe an ova or a movie. A movie I would settle for actually.
