    Rather than necessarily playing music herself, Nonon is more the conductor of her band club thing. Nonetheless, she does have some music of her own during her battles.

    What do you expect from an overrated cliché shounen that is more focused on "MC must win" rather than "good characters should knock their opponent down"? Even so, Nonon still gave Ryuko a run for her money (you know, before clichéness came along).

    Yeah I still don't like Nonon as a performer, her club sucks for being a band and her theme is also one of the worst from the show. As far as I'm concerned band girl as a performer is crap, as a character she isn't too bad and as a fighter she serves her purpose.

    I'll leave the first performance from Wake Up, Girls here just so there is something to help them

    @Mafiacow hate to tell you this but you videos actually turned me against her. Seems more like she is using sound themed Attacks while classical music plays in the background rather than making music. She had some points at leading the band but the momment it turned in the mecha ish fight that was it for her. and considering i know neither of these contestants first impressions count a lot here

    Nonon is definately more of a conductor but that is a valid role in music as well as the music she was shown directing was good. She's not just someone using sound atacks while music plays that music is being directed by her or at least that is the implication even if it's not always directly shown.
