    Fridays question:

What was the last unusual anime you watched? By unusual I mean from a genre that you don't usually watch or particularly enjoy.

For me it would be the 2nd season of haruhi, I got up to the final 5 eps last year and dropped it but at Mafia's request I finished it the other day, man it was a hard thing for me to finish even though I was only paying half attention while playing a game, It just did not feel like 2 hours but more along the lines of 4.

I'm not giving you the satisfaction of that gif

As for "don't particularly enjoy", I guess it'd be Nobunaga the Fool. I'm only one ep in, but I don't really see much reason for watching it. I just don't really enjoy the mecha genre when it's in anime.

High School of the Dead. I don't usually watch anything in the ecchi genre but something about zombies being killed made me not care. The rest I've watched since have been is some way in line with what I normally watch.

Saturday's question. Would you rather lose your sense of smell or sense of taste? And why?

Taste. It's only good for eating, which I don't enjoy anyway. Smell at least can warn you of dangers and stuff like a gas leak. Sure, taste can tell you if your food is off, but smell can do that too.

Sunday's question before I sleep. I walked into the lounge earlier, and Crocodile Dundee 2 was on the TV. It got me thinking, what do you guys consider to be the Aussie stereotype? Maddy, Super, no cheating so spoilers if you answer. ;P

Saturday- I'd probably prefer to lose my sense of smell, yes it can warn you about gas leaks or fires but I guess I could replace that with a canary a smoke alarm and a dog, meanwhile if I lost my sense of taste everything would be just like eating paper. So yeah I'd go with keeping taste losing smell.

Sundays- Aussies watch anime, I'm sure about this, this has to be the correct stereotype. Okay so I don't know, everything that I think to be seen as the typical Aussie I don't fit into so…
The only typical Aussie things I 100% support is liking vegemite and meat pies, I'm definitely not the right person to ask about this.

Saturday: I have already lost my sense of smell and have adapted. If I were to loose my sense of taste I'd be devastated. I really enjoy food.

Sunday: I agree with Sporadic in that the stereotypical men are outdoorsy combating the extremely dangerous critters of the outback.

Saturday: I would choose having a sense of smell over taste any day. Sense of smell is vital in almost everything especially in survival and war.

Sunday: Aussie stereotype ummm Bars and beer maybe

Saturday - If I had to loose one I'd go with taste for all of the previously stated reasons

Sunday- The Australians are all happy-go-lucky people, they say g'day mate, they love vegemite.

Honestly it is kind of hard to describe what vegemite is like, the only comparison I've ever heard that sounds close is that it is similar to marmite [but I've never had this so I can't say how accurate it is].
Red is right that it is indeed a spread that you don't generally apply too thickly. To my knowledge that is why America never integrated it, from what I've seen/heard about the matter is that when it was brought to the US several decades ago they were giving people large spoonfuls to try as if it were another chocolate spread. Of course this is the inaccurate way to eat it [unless you are hardcore about the stuff] but it does give birth to a large amount of reactions vids on youtube, all of which are without risk of choking or guaranteed throwing up as seen with cinnamon and milk challenges.
Although even the reactions vids to the usual amount applied seem over reacting to me.

@Bedheadred Vegemite is the spread of the gods. And yeah, as Super says, it's hard to describe the taste. To anyone who hasn't had it, I can suggest you order some. But be warned, it is NOT chocolate spread. If you haven't had it before, I'd probably suggest just like a small scraping or something on a piece of toast. :3
